Creating your tutor account

How to sign up as a tutor, sign in again, and what happens right after.

Updated August 9, 2026

Teaching on Vocally starts with a free account. Creating one takes a minute — the profile setup comes right after.

Open Vocally and switch the toggle at the top of the form to Tutor. Then either:

  • Fill in your full name, email and a password (at least 6 characters), tick the box accepting the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and select Create account; or
  • Select Continue with Google and pick the Google account you want to use.

Make sure the toggle says Tutor before you submit — it decides which kind of account is created.

As soon as your account exists you land on the tutor profile setup. See setting up your tutor profile for what each step asks for.

Go to the sign-in page and enter the email and password you signed up with, or use Continue with Google if that is how you created the account.

A few things worth knowing:

  • Google sign-in only works if you originally signed up with Google. If you created your account with an email and password, sign in with those.
  • If you get “invalid credentials”, the email or the password is wrong — try resetting your password.
  • If your account has been deactivated, the page tells you so instead of showing a credentials error. Write to support@vocallyglobal.com to reopen it.

If you signed up as a student by mistake

Accounts keep the type they were created with. If you registered as a student and meant to teach, write to support@vocallyglobal.com and we’ll sort it out — don’t create a second account with the same email, it won’t be accepted.
